A Miracle Touch

Devotional Thought
One thing consistently appears in every healing recorded in the Gospels: faith.
Again and again, we see people coming to Jesus with desperate needs. They believed that He had the power to help them, and Jesus responded to that faith. While each miracle happened differently, the common foundation behind every healing was a heart that trusted Him.
One powerful example is the woman who suffered from an issue of blood for twelve years. For over a decade, she searched for relief. She went from doctor to doctor and spent everything she had, yet nothing worked.
Up to that point, her hope had been limited to human help. But everything changed when she encountered Jesus.
In that moment, she realized that God Himself was her healer. Scripture reveals one of God's names as Jehovah Rapha — the Lord who heals.
When she reached Jesus, her faith released the power of God. The crowd could not stop her. Her heart was determined: If I can just touch Him, I will be healed.
She pressed through until she reached the One who could truly heal her.
Reflection
The same Jesus who healed then is still able to heal today. His power has not changed.
Whatever need you are facing, come to Him with faith.

Prayer
Lord, help me trust You fully. Increase my faith and help me reach out to You with confidence, knowing that You are able to meet every need. Amen.
