A First-Time Visitor Encountered the Presence of God
Recently, Pastor Rich had the opportunity to minister at Living Hope Fellowship. After the service, he prayed with a gentleman who was visiting the church for the very first time.
This man came in quietly, not knowing what to expect. But during prayer, the presence of God met him in a personal and powerful way. What began as a simple visit became a divine appointment.
The Lord touched his heart.
There were no theatrics, no pressure — just the gentle, life-changing work of the Holy Spirit. Something shifted in him that day. Hope was restored. Faith was awakened.
Since that Sunday, he has returned to church.
We are reminded again that when the Word is preached and prayer is offered in faith, God moves. Sometimes it’s not loud or dramatic — it’s deeply personal. And those moments change lives.
We give God all the glory for what He is doing, one heart at a time.

My son and I visited a recovery meeting at a local church the other night. The meeting itself had just started that week. During the meeting, I shared my testimony about when I was a young man, struggling with alcohol and drugs, I experienced the saving power of Jesus, and I was born again, given a new opportunity to start a new life. There was a young man at the meeting. He shared about his battle with a 24/7 alcohol addiction, the kind that does not let you go, not even for a moment.
Toward the end of the meeting, I asked him what he wanted to do. He looked right at me and said, "I want what you have." Right there, the men and I in that meeting led him in a prayer of salvation. He came looking for help with his addiction and met his Savior and Deliverer, Jesus Christ. --Richard Doron
